PROFESSIONAL INFO

May I introduce myself as a translator of Spanish and Italian nationality who has lived in Spain, Argentina and Ireland for several years. My aptitude for languages (Spanish, English, Italian) has made me a translator whose work is based on the knowledge acquired in different countries during my university studies of English Studies and European Studies.

Therefore, I have a great knowledge of Spanish language (Standard Spanish, European and Latin American Spanish) and English language, including an extensive experience in the field of literary and general translation. My academic skills are complemented by a wide knowledge of international culture and experience in creative projects always guided by a serious, committed, perfectionist and responsible attitude at work.

Translation tools / Linguistic correctness

I can highlight my knowledge of Spanish language spoken in Europe and America, because of my years spent in both continents. This multinational origin blend with my academic training and my studies in an English-speaking country such as Ireland have provided to me a good level working with English, skills for working in groups and using multiple tools, including software and online tools for translation jobs.

Due to my academic training in English language, I have considerable experience in translation of texts from English to Spanish on various topics and a wide variety of genres. My experience as a translator includes among others: literary texts (poetry), tourism texts, oriental culture, European economy and politics, regenerative medicine, art, etc.

New domains / Translating specialized language

I have a great motivation to learn about new topics, including any new field of study, which requires specific terminology usage, as for instance applied science, medicine, art, history, nature, international culture, economy, politics, modern technologies or IT.

Among my acquired knowledge during my academic training, there are applied science, modern technologies, automotive as well as nutrition, sports, history, literature, international culture, religion, mythology, philosophy, cinema films, music, cuisine, food, IT, flora and fauna, etc.
